Rockland Aerospace recently purchased 7 Lockheed Martin L-188 Electra aircraft, along with over 5000 associated spare parts. Restoration will begin shortly on two of the aircraft, in order to bring them to operational condition, while the remainder will be used to service the worldwide P-3 community by providing access to much needed airframe, hydraulic, engine and electro-mechanical spares.
Inventory is the key to optimizing aircraft operation yield, particularly when it comes to ageing platforms and legacy systems. Our focus has always been placed on minimizing aircraft downtime for operators around the world. This purchase expands our support capabilities, all part of Rockland Aerospace’s promise to provide clients with innovative flight solutions.
